The OFDM Modem IP Core is a high-performance solution for wireless and broadband systems like 5G, Wi-Fi, LTE, satellite, and tactical radios. It offers full PHY baseband functionality with support for adaptive modulation, channel estimation, and configurable IFFT/FFT sizes. Optimized for low-latency and robust performance, it’s ideal for both fixed and mobile applications.

  • Complete Baseband Processing: Includes IFFT/FFT engine, cyclic prefix insertion/removal, windowing, pilot insertion, channel estimation, equalization, and symbol mapping/de-mapping.
  • Configurable Parameters: Supports dynamic FFT sizes (64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048), cyclic prefix lengths, modulation schemes, and guard intervals.
  • Modulation Support: QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM, 256-QAM, adaptable based on channel conditions or system requirements.
  • Pilot and Preamble Support: Embedded pilot symbols and preamble structures for synchronization, frequency offset correction, and channel estimation.
  • MIMO Compatibility: Designed to integrate with 2x2, 4x4, and higher MIMO architectures for enhanced throughput and diversity gains.
  • Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC): Enables real-time modulation adjustment per subcarrier, improving efficiency and throughput under varying SNR conditions.
