Job Overview: Qbit Labs is seeking a good technical signal processing engineer who shall be working in the area of design, development, implementation, and testing of RF, wired, and wireless communication algorithms. They shall be responsible for selecting the most optimal algorithm and comparing MATLAB for emerging technologies and protocols in new communication.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc IT from a reputed College

Skill:

  • Basic understanding of signal processing: An intern should have a basic understanding of signal processing concepts and techniques, particularly in the area of RF, wired, and wireless communication algorithms.
  • Experience with MATLAB: An intern should have some experience with MATLAB, as it is a commonly used tool in signal processing.
  • FPGA design and implementation: An intern should have some understanding of FPGA architecture, components, and configuration, and the ability to implement digital designs on FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog.
  • Communication skills: An intern should have good communication skills to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program: Overall, an intern at Qbit Labs should have a basic understanding of signal processing concepts and techniques, some experience with MATLAB and FPGA design, and good communication skills. They should also be enrolled in a relevant degree program.

Embedded SW Engineer – C/C++/Linux

Graduate Engineer Trainee: Freshers Experience level: 0-1 Applicable for engineering, B.Sc IT graduates, authorized to work full time. Candidates are assessed on the basis of their technical competency during their educational courses. The freshers shall have an opportunity to work on embedded software involving strong C/C++/Kernel Programming/GUI/Device Driver.

Students are recommended to go through and brush up in the following areas:

  • C/C++, Linux, RTOS, DSP Processor Development, Cross compilation
  • Study Research, Literature & Algorithm
  • Linux: Kernel Program
  • Embedded - TCP/IP
  • OS - Linux/Windows
  • Protocol Device Driver
  • Firmware

Embedded SW /Sr. Design Engineer/Project Lead Experience: 2-15 years Job Location - : Suite 6, 691 S Milpitas Blvd Suite 217, Milpitas, canada 95035, USA

Experience level: B.Sc IT with 2 to 15 years of experience.

Job Description:

This engineer will work with a lead software developer to work on any embedded Linux system and coding shall be written in C and C++. Environment may be on Windows as well but Linux preferred

Key requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing software for embedded platforms in C and C++. Linux experience interfacing with hardware devices is desired.
  • Excellent software engineering coding skills with strong basic concepts of Computer Architecture. Knowledge of python is also nice to have.
  • Comfortable collaborating with hardware development engineers to work on Embedded Software/Device Driver.
  • Preferred though not mandatory to have knowledge of video concepts and communication protocols (any one Ethernet/PCIe/USB/ Display Port/HDMI/HDCP or similar).
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and good communication skills.
  • Bachelors/Masters from IIT/NIT/DCE or similar renowned college.
